Let’s start this journey with some housekeeping! The first order of business is “turning off the chatter of your inner critic”. Yes, you have one, I have one, we all have one. We can deny it until the moon turns blue. It’s a simple truth, that once accepted, it is very empowering.
To overthrow the inner critic’s hold on your thoughts, your inner voice must be louder and larger than your fears of your inner critic. The fears of what the inner critic will say, think and how she makes you feel. You are the sole proprietor of your emotions and your voice. Owning your inner voice is the very first step to rediscover your magic.
On this journey to rediscover your magic, you must turn off all distractions. That is, if you are committed and really want this to work for you! Are you?
The only voice I want you to hear at this moment is your own as you read this.
FIND YOURSELF IN MY WORDS
Know that I only ask of you, those things I ask of myself. I want for you, what I want for me.
The goal of this blog is to. at times, share some solid gold excerpts from my book Rediscover Your Magic book to help you find your voice and as if we were face to face having a conversation. I wrote the book to introduce women to an alternative personal growth and coaching practice. One where I am personally available for private 1:1 coaching. Yes, you have access to me, by phone, by text, by apps, videoconference and live in-person events. You will be educated and mentored and receive the panoramic view of what breathing fresh ideas into your life and your business can do to help you, rediscover your magic, and turn your ideas into valuable products and services!
Your voice is the internal compass to build your intuitive empire. Getting unstuck means uncovering the myths, the hidden blocks that hold you captive. If there are some spots that need remapping, your heart and brain connection will kick in. It will clear the path for your intuition to signal and direct you to those messages meant for you only. Expect to experience all of this while reading this book.
Today, is the best time to get clarity on your calling.

There is no better story I could share with you. One that tells the tale of what it feels like to align your path and calling.
Did you know, it starts very early in one’s life?
An early childhood friend, “Susan” created art as an escape from her family issues. It was her “safe place”. Growing up in The Bronx we all needed something to call our own that brought us joy.
There came a point where Susan stopped creating. The negativity and external influences she received crushed her confidence. I remember telling her that she needed to create, that it was her happy place and that I didn’t want a grumpy best friend.
She would ask me, “How do you know that this is what I need?” I told her that I could see how it lit her up. It was like she was a light bulb and was completely turned up to the highest wattage possible. In her mind,
YOU ARE MY WHY...AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO EXPAND THIS VISION SO EVERY PERSON IS TOUCHED AND A RIPPLE EFFECT GOES ON AND ON TO HEAL THE PLANET, ONE BEAUTIFUL SOUL AT A TIME.
she was not good at art or anything. She no longer wanted to create. She felt that people didn’t like her, with or without her art.
What she did not see, was that her art gave her a voice, a way to speak up for herself, a way to express herself without words. It was her path to transformation, back home to herself.
The truth is, Susan was an amazing artist. We would visit for hours. We created magical realms, to wherever our imaginations transported us that particular day. Susan loved to create images of women in beautiful gowns. She aspired to be a fashion designer. She would say then she was older she would do this! She wanted to make dresses for women that made them feel beautiful, inside and out! What I know now, was, that she wanted to help other women feel “seen” rather than invisible. This is how she felt.
Susan did return to creating art many years later. I learned that she dedicated her life’s work to helping others using her art as a therapeutic tool. The catalyst for her return to art was a canvas and paint her sister gifted her. Her sister told her she had quite enough of Susan’s reluctance to do the one thing she loved the most. Her sister was always the wave-maker and peacemaker. I laugh as I write this about my friend. I am still uncertain who was the more relentless, strong-willed child. Susan or her sister with that wise, inner knowing, observing what Susan needed.
Reflecting on my time with Susan. I am sure it was the combination of us co-creating ideas and supporting each other that made our time so magical. We invented, imagined and created our own magic.
We all have within us, the ability to believe in something far larger than our fears.

You can learn to let nothing stand in the way of what feels like “home” and lights you up from the inside out.
You can learn to START doing and never STOP.
You can learn to use discernment.
